Bugaboo Carriages

Bugaboo Baby Carriages:

As Bugaboo is one of the most popular brands out there, I’ll inaugurate my first post with a description and a review of Bugaboo Baby carriages. Bugaboo is renowned for their quality, durability, ease of use and light to the touch push with each of their styles serving a different need.

Bugaboo Models:

The most common models I’ve seen from Bugaboo are the Cameleon, Bee, Fox and the Donkey. The Bugaboo Cameleon is a single stroller with an independent baby bassinet and seat. The Bugaboo Bee is a lightweight city stroller with a full recline and easy fold in cases of transport by bus or car. Bugaboo Fox is a bit of a fuller sized single stroller with a sturdier base. Bugaboo Donkey is great as a double stroller with the option of turning it into a single in a matter of moments. The Bugaboo company also carries a Bugaboo Runner, great for hiking and jogging.

My Experience:

After using a no-name brand carriage for my first child which I will write about in another post, I bought a Bugaboo Bee carriage when my second child was a year old and have put it to good use with my subsequent children and have never looked back. It’s the carriage I would get again in an instant if I would be in need of a new one.
One of the main reasons for my choice was the ease with which their carriages push on specially engineered wheels and the ability to reverse the seat so that we can use it to face our newborns.

The pros and cons will be an overall review of Bugaboo’s baby carriages which will be broken down when we review each of their carriages separately.

Pros:

  • Infant to Toddler
  • Reversible Seat
  • Car Seat Compatible
  • Reclinable Seats
  • Easy Maneuvarability
  • Adjustable Handlebar Height
  • Independent Bassinet for some models
  • Large Underseat Baskets
  • Stylish
  • Durability
  • Stability
  • Ease of Use
  • Variety of Accessories
  • Customizable Designs
  • Ease in getting stroller parts

Cons:

  • Price

Price:

  • Range from $739 – $1,299 excluding additional accessories

In Summary:

Well, as you see above, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. The Bugaboo baby carriages are called celebrity carriages for a reason and I would definitely label this the Lexus of carriage brands!
